I CAME TO BRING DIVISION

"Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, but division." Christ categorically said that He came not to bring peace but division. This peace is the worldly kind of peace. Christ declared that there will never be peace between worldly people. No peace between worldly husbands and worldly wives, between worldly parents and children and between worldly nations. For such worldlings, God sends division, intrigues, wars and conflicts.

"My peace I give you." Now, what is this kind of peace? It is spiritual peace. It is the peace that God gives to those who love Him. It is said that there is only one thing that unites men and that is the love of God. But there are a million things that divide men. There are as many reasons for quarreling as there are quarrels.
