RULE 39

We must persevere in clinging to the good things which are in the Lord. He who lacks perseverance is like a stony ground: 

"He receives the Word with joy. Yet it did not take up root. And, when tribulations arose because of the Word, the plant dies." 

"Therefore, brethren, be steadfast and unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord."
