DISTRACTIONS

This is the reason why those who deliberately occupy themselves with earthly business, constantly seeking worldly well-being, have not God's rest in their hearts; for they love and seek their rest in this thing which is so little and in which there is no rest, and do not know God who is almighty, all wise and all good. God wishes to be known, and it pleases him that we should rest in him; for all things which are beneath him are not sufficient for us.
