GOD'S WILL
|
LOVE IS NOT FEELING
The world is getting more
and more emotional, i.e. it is losing its backbone. Even love is seen as
nothing but a passing emotional fancy.
For us, Catholics, love is not a feeling but an act of the free will. It is
joining our will to God's will. It means consent to whatever God's will
commands.
It means doing everything
for only one reason, because it is God's will. If emotions and feelings
accompany the acts of the will, that's normal. But it is the free will that
should dominate and not the emotions.
