PRIVATE
PROPERTY
We can debate on this topic forever. But
then we are not interested in what I think or what you think but on what the
first Christians did that led them to virtue and possessed of a burning
faith. "They sold their houses and farms and freely offered all they
had to the apostles for them to distribute to the poor." This way, they
acquired heavenly houses and crowns.
"They were of one mind and soul. They
had no differences between them nor did they think of anything as their own;
but they held all their goods in common." This is the way to be born
again as a child of God. For whatever is of God is common to all. No one is
excluded from His generosity and gifts. The day and its light, the rain and
the moisture, and the wind belong to God and are shared by all.
So, Christian soul, be like God and share
your goods.
