UNREASONABLENESS OF ANGER

Anger is the quickest of all vices. It is aroused and inflamed against a man who has done injury or seems to have done injury or even against one who does good.

It hardens the soul more and more; it enslaves the mind during prayer, vividly bringing to mind the face of the offender. Because it is imprinted in the mind, it causes nightmares, depicting physical tortures, horrors of death, attacks and falling over cliffs. These nightmares accompany the birth of anger.
