THE SIX POPES
OF ST. MALACHY - THE LABORING SUN: POPE JOHN PAUL II (WOJTYLA)
Malachy describes Pope John Paul
II's reign as "De Labore Solis." The Sun of Truth will shine
all over the world; but it will shine with difficulty.
Karol's thesis in Rome as a
student was "The Problem of Faith." He will grapple with
this problem in his reign. As Pope, he shone around the world:
Latin America, Japan, Korea, Philippines, Poland, Ireland, France, England,
etc. People went to cheer him, see him, applaud him. . .but very few
acted on his messages. Truly, the problem of faith. . .gross
disobedience to the commands of Christ.
But he still shines like the
sun, attracting all to his light. He is brighter than all political
leaders and rock stars put together. The stains of blood, however,
will be nearby as the sun shines with labor, Fr. Pio prophesied.
