IT IS EASY TO
BE A HERETIC
A small mistake in doctrine could cause
huge blunders in human happiness. Because the world is careless, the Church
must always be careful.
It is easy to be a heretic. . .just say
anything that comes to your mind; but it is difficult to stay within the
wild but precise parameters of orthodoxy. There is an infinity of direction
in which one might fall; but there is only one direction at which one may
stand.
