THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE GOD
In an effort to sound reconciliatory,
many say that the gods of all religions are the same god. It does sound
reconciliatory but it shows gross ignorance of God. How can
they be the same god when their teachings are different or
contradictory? Of course, there could be some occasional
similarities but there are often more contradictions.
Even the Christ that the different
Christian sects are preaching cannot be the same. . .because the
teachings of the Christs they preach are different from the Christ
the Apostles preached.
Two gods and two Christs cannot exist.
Even in the natural world, Pompey and Caesar, though related, could
not be two rulers of one vast empire. The bees have one ruler
and so do flocks and herds. So there can only be one God and
one Christ.
We must find out if the God we worship
is the same God of Abraham, the God of Jacob, Moses and David.
We must find out if the Christ we follow is the Christ of the
Apostles, the Apostolic Fathers and the Fathers of the Church.
