CHRISTIAN LIFE
MONOTONY
Monotony in Christian Living or monastic
life is essential to holiness. Monotony, alone, can develop the two great
virtues; firstly, perseverance, which alone can bring us to our goal of
eternal life, and steadfastness, which enables us to overcome all
difficulties along the way, states St. Vincent de Paul.
